JULY 17th, 2008 Entry

How's everybody doing?  Summer is here and it can stay forever as far as were concerned!  We did want to give another quick update.  We will be perfroming again with Capital Records band "Hurt" as they tour through Portland this August.  We had a great time with them last tour through and we look forward to performing with them again.  Check out our show dates for details soon...so far it looks like August 25th, 2008 at the Hawthorne Theater. 

Many of you are wondering the progress on the album.  Well its already in production and we thought it might be done by the end of the summer, but were guessing more like early fall.  It will be our first full lengther...

Things are going very well with us and we are super excited to play some shows this fall and winter.  We are really trying not to play shows at the moment, so if you get a chance to see us perfrom with "Hurt" it may be a couple more months before we perform another.  Check back in the next couple days for exact show dates and times.

-Febuary 6th, 2008 entry

Well hello everyone.  Just thought we would give you a quick update on the world of FarCry.  First, we are playing a Dantes show Febuary 28th (Thursday Evening) opening for "Royal Bliss."  They are a great band from Salt Lake and just finished up an album with our pal Rob Daiker.  Make sure to swing out...its only gonna be 5 bucks.  For more information check out our shows page.

Album?  Im glad you asked, we are going to be hitting the studio next month to record one of our favorite ideas so far....  "FarCry Gospel"!  We will be pulling some real old school gospel covers and putting the FarCry twist on 'em.  It should be done real soon, so keep checking in and we will give you more details.

Laslty it looks like we will have a suprise show coming up here in Los Angeles , CA. It should be a killer time....we will let you know more as the date closes in, but for now, just know we will be in Cali, soon.

January 1st, 2008 entry

 On Friday January 11th, 2008, FarCry will be performing at Hawthorne Theater.  This is an ALL AGES SHOW!  Will be opening for the band "HURT."  Show starts at 9:00 pm.  Tickets available at Ticketswest for 10 dollars or 12 at the door.  Hope to see you all there!

 Thanks to all of you who came out and supported us as we opened up for "DAYS OF THE NEW."  We really enjoyed the support as so many of you bought tickets.  We are going to continue posting shows...and hope you continue to check back for updates.

Also, we have been receiving several requests to update our store and offer more merchandise.  We hear you and will work our hardest to have a large variety by Dec.  We're hoping to have stickers availbable by the end of this month.

We are also contiueing to write new songs and hope to release a full lenght album by Augest 2008.  Thanks again and we will see you soon!
