-Febuary 6th, 2008 entry

Well hello everyone. Just thought we would give you a quick update on the world of FarCry. First, we are playing a Dantes show Febuary 28th (Thursday Evening) opening for "Royal Bliss." They are a great band from Salt Lake and just finished up an album with our pal Rob Daiker. Make sure to swing out...its only gonna be 5 bucks. For more information check out our shows page.

Album? Im glad you asked, we are going to be hitting the studio next month to record one of our favorite ideas so far.... "FarCry Gospel"! We will be pulling some real old school gospel covers and putting the FarCry twist on 'em. It should be done real soon, so keep checking in and we will give you more details.

Laslty it looks like we will have a suprise show coming up here in Los Angeles , CA. It should be a killer time....we will let you know more as the date closes in, but for now, just know we will be in Cali, soon.

January 1st, 2008 entry

On Friday January 11th, 2008, FarCry will be performing at Hawthorne Theater. This is an ALL AGES SHOW! Will be opening for the band "HURT." Show starts at 9:00 pm. Tickets available at Ticketswest for 10 dollars or 12 at the door. Hope to see you all there!

Thanks to all of you who came out and supported us as we opened up for "DAYS OF THE NEW." We really enjoyed the support as so many of you bought tickets. We are going to continue posting shows...and hope you continue to check back for updates.

Also, we have been receiving several requests to update our store and offer more merchandise. We hear you and will work our hardest to have a large variety by Dec. We're hoping to have stickers availbable by the end of this month.

We are also contiueing to write new songs and hope to release a full lenght album by Augest 2008. Thanks again and we will see you soon!

Since FarCry formed in early ‘03 they have set and accomplished many goals while achieving a considerable amount of recognition and success along the way. Within four months of completing their lineup they recorded a demo at Northstar Studios in Portland, OR. Success immediately followed, gaining the recognition and support from industry veteran Spider, front man for Powerman 5000. The band began making quick strides within the following months. Some highlights include; a showcase for Andy Gould at The Firm Management, a live performance on the Mark & Brian morning show, and several performances with nationally recognized acts.

With a diverse acoustic based rock sound FarCry carries a very broad appeal.. Fronted by singer songwriter Andrew Supina, FarCry
is lent powerful vocal performances through ballads and aggressive rock. Influences are numerous but include; Days of the New, Matchbox 20, Incubus, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.

Dedicated to being true professionals in all aspects, FarCry is working toward growing their success in the coming year and beyond.
